I am a current college student looking to continue my joy for working with children. I began babysitting my 3 nieces who are 8, 6, and 5 years old. I worked as a temporary assistant teacher and often a lead teacher with adults in the compensatory Education program. These students had the minds of children, and I soon found myself to enjoy teaching and being around them. I also made an impact on the students when I left for college because they made gifts and a small party for me. I continued teaching children at a daycare beginning as a floater but began working more in the two and three year old rooms. These children at the daycare all knew my name and would scream my name as soon as they saw me. I grew close with the kids and their parents and babysat for some parents after working with Read more their child. Although I had to let go of the job due to school, I want to continue to show my love for children and impact their lives in the best way possible.
