Hi folks! My name is Mallie Clara, and I’m a rising senior and Morehead-Cain scholar at UNC Chapel Hill studying psychology! From NC, I am one out of four children and grew up with 15+ cousins! I was a nanny for a family with four peeps from the time I was 16-18 years old, and upon moving to UNC have transitioned to more part-time babysitting. I also worked for a year during COVID as a teacher assistant at HOPE Academy, a grant funded preschool. I’ve worked as a CNA on the UNC Hospital Child Psychiatry unit for going on two years, so I have extensive experience in behavioral health, and child needs with Mental Health First Aid, Basic First Aid, and CPR certificates. I love working with kids because they remind me to look at life with a positive, curious outlook while always having fun.
