Hello! My name is Emma and I'm from a small town in North Carolina. I've been babysitting since I was 12 and worked in several childcare positions at churches. I'm currently in my third year of university, and am working on my BAs in Classics and Religious Studies (with a minor in Gender Studies), and plan on continuing into graduate school so that I can eventually become a professor. I've always loved working with children, and I've often worked 30-40 hours a week as a nanny. I love playing with kids, and I think it's critical to get down on their level, whether that's laying on the floor for tummy time, playing with toys together, singing silly songs, dancing, enjoying time outside, or reading (one of my favorite things to do!). I have years of experience with kids as young as 3 months and as old as 10. I would Read more love to spend time getting to know you and your children, and experiencing the joys playtime and life together. I also know that jobs don't stop at taking care of the kids! I always leave homes cleaner than I found them and ensure that any messes the kids and I make together are cleaned up *before* you come home, that way you don't have to worry about it! I am CPR certified (infant and adult), Red Cross certified to babysit, and can provide references if necessary :) I have a wonderful yellow lab at home, and I love pets of all kind!
