My name is Vickie, I am 59 years old and very interested in your job posting. I was a foster parent for 12 years. I help raised 4 generation of children and I have been a professional nanny in Durham, Apex and Chapel Hill for the past 8 to 9 years. I am looking for a full time position starting in March. I currently live in Chapel Hill. A little bit of my history: I was a full time nanny/housekeeper for 1 year for Dr. Appleton and Mrs. Appleton 3 boys ages, 16 month, 3 years, 5 years old. I absolutely loved the experience. This position ended after Dr. Appleton finished his fellowship at Duke and returned to their home town. My 2nd Nanny position I worked for Kristen and Sam 2 years old daughter for 8 months. This position ended because she started daycare. My 3rd Nanny position I Read more worked Dr. Wellman and Mrs. Wellman 2 children, 4 years old son, 2 years old daughter for 5 months. This position ended when there live in Nanny arrived. I speak English fluently and a non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record. I also take care of dogs when their owner are out of town, so I would definitely not mind being around pets.
