I played a pivotal role in raising my brothers at an early age when they were newborns on up. It has always been easy for children to connect with me. Kids naturally know I am genuine, safe and fun. I am passionate & enthusiastic about nurturing children of all ages and abilities. For me, seeing children flourish to develop healthy & balanced lives is fulfilling and very rewarding.  In our day and age of technology everywhere, feeling connected and relating well with people is critical in the formation of children's psyches. Continual interaction is key as many people are being isolated as some spend more and more time "connecting" on the internet instead. Human contact, personal touch and cuddles are far superior than staring at a flat image.  I am kind, caring, patient, flexible and appropriate. My experience favors a couple of warnings followed by a timeout using the guideline of their age times 1 minute at a designated spot void of anything to do but calm, process their emotions & think. Then complete the process with an apology, forgiveness, sharing of love with cuddles for resolution then to move on without grudges, stuck emotions or energy. Learning and growing is engaging when positive approaches and proactive methods are employed. I happily provide homework help. Also, I am a Children's Sunday School teacher for elementary-aged children which includes continuing education. Safe Sanctuary awareness & techniques are always in place to cherish and protect the most vulnerable. I help in the nursery at my parish and work with families in crisis in our community, too.  My nurturing spirit, open communication style & collaborative way comes from naturally wanting the greater good for everyone involved.
