Hello! My name is Emily - everyone calls me Em. For the past few years I have been working as an accountant. Previously, I spent many years working full-time for nonprofit summer camp organizations as well as many positions at other summer camps. I would love to find a family that needs occasional help - for weekends/date nights or something part-time during the week. I started babysitting at age twelve for family friends. By the time I was in high-school, I was working closely with a family of four children and would watch them on overnights while the parents traveled. During college I was a nanny for two toddlers in New York, driving them to and from schools and parks. Since then, I have worked at a daycare in the infant room and have helped out with children community programs as well as babysat for various families. I have a Read more lot of experience with newborns, infants and toddlers, but love to work with children of all ages. Some activities I enjoy in my spare time are baking, hiking, photography, knitting & mountain climbing. I have a big family and am the proud auntie of ten kiddos under the age of ten! A couple specifics regarding driving and pets: I am currently leasing a car with mileage restrictions, so if there is a need for a lot of driving for errands or for kids schedules, I would prefer driving a family vehicle. I have driven trucks, vans, all of it - am a very competent and aware driver and have never had any kind of record or at fault accident. Experience driving children, am always extra careful. I am comfortable with pets, but do have a pet dander allergy so some breeds are ok but some are difficult to spend a lot of time with. I do have a love for animals and am happy to discuss it.
