My name is Jeanette and I absolutely love children! I have a degree in social work and have worked with children of all ages and in many capacities over the last 30 years. For 7 years, I worked as a loving, caring nanny for 5 wonderful children. I am still in contact with those grown children today, who now have their own little ones. I have 3 years of experience working with children and teens with special needs. I am the very proud mother of 3 brilliant grown children whom I adore! I homeschooled them for 13 years, and it was a joy and privilege to be the one to open up the world of learning to their young minds. I would love to continue to utilize my passion for teaching. I am a very active person and believe it's essential to give children consistent opportunities to play, be active Read more and get plenty of sunshine and fresh air. I am CPR certified. I have a keen interest in other cultures and have traveled a good bit around the world. I lived in the Amazon jungle of Brazil for a year and a half, which was a life-changing experience! I still speak Portuguese.
