I am currently a sophomore in college at Appalachian State University and I have been babysitting/nanny since I was a sophomore in high school! I have worked for families with kids ranging all the way from 2-12 and find that I do well with just about every age. I am very passionate about child care because I was raised by the most amazing nanny who took care of everything while my mom and dad constantly had to work. I think it is very important for a child’s upbringing to be surrounded by responsible, caring, and enthusiastic people to allow them to grow and prosper. I believe that the shaping of a child’s character truly starts with learning from those around them.
