Audra was just wonderful! I had a list of questions for all applicants and while most gave vague descriptions or unrelated stories, Aurda, was upfront, honest and very detailed in her answers. When we first met, she was great with my son, Vance, who has Down Syndrome and I knew from that moment she was going to be a perfect fit and she was. I would come home and he would show me all the things they did like played games, memory matching, they even drew a puppy, colored in different parts of the body and gave it a name, an age, and a favorite hobby! Way beyond any of my expectations. I just knew my child was in good hands and that I wouldn't have to worry about him just watching TV the whole time because she really challenges him. And that level of caring and support is hard to find. She was reasonable with her fees and upfront. She also comes prepared with all her certificates and identification. Even on days her services weren't needed she would send a little text just seeing how we were doing. We've been in the area for 8 years and I've had many other sitters, Audra is by far, the very BEST. She continues to exceed my expectations and I look forward to working with her for a very long time.

We never had the chance to actually meet Audra. Her profile states that she will watch 6+ kids and her going rate is $8-$10/hour. But on the evening I was scheduled to meet her, she said she would charge $12/hr for a mother's helper and $20/hr for 6 kids! Six kids IS a lot! I'm not disagreeing with that. But my spouse doesn't even make that much! We are foster parents, and run a tight ship here. My kids are well behaved and I was hoping that after meeting us, she would be a great fit! Because of the misunderstanding and her profile stats, it was very misleading. I hope she changes her profile to match her desires! She seems like a great girl! But $20/hr is too much for us.
