Hello prospective families! Thanks in advance for your time and consideration! I moved to East Asheville this past Fall and am currently connecting with families to see how I can best support them in their unique, varying seasons of life. I currently work as a family's Nanny & Family Assistant 20 hours a week with a fluctuating, flexible schedule. I would love to find another family to support part time (10-20 hours) as well as other families for occasional needs (childcare or house needs). One of my biggest passions is working with children & families and my entire professional career of 15 years+ and education in Human Development/Early Childhood has proven that as I have worked with them in a variety of settings. I worked in a church childcare program, my university's Early Learning Center, a day summer camp as a counselor for 5 years, and a preschool program. In most recent years I have transitioned into a dual role of Nanny & Household Manager or Family Assistant. I have experience supporting HNW families after working through an incredible, competitive nanny agency that serves families nationwide, but the mountains have called my name and brought me to WNC. Through the various positions over the years, I have gained great experience within various households and children of all ages in a wide variety of settings. My passion for working with children & their families is truly undeniable by anyone who knows me! I enjoy taking advantage of local events and resources that the community offers for children, such as parks, the library, pools, museums, theaters, etc. On my time off, I have a passion for exploring and soaking up the great outdoors by hammocking and exploring the mountain trails.
