Hi there! My name is Katherine, and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently studying at Appalachian State University, and I will be home for the summer at the end of April. I will be available the months of May and June, yet I will only be available a couple of days out of July and available for most of August, up until school starts. I'm a psychology major with a concentration in human services, and I hope to become a children's counselor. I've been babysitting since I was 14, and when I started to decide my career path, I just knew I would be working with children. I adore kids of all ages, and I've had experience with kids aged ten months to twelve years. I would consider myself kind, patient, understanding, attentive, nurturing, and creative. I have experience with special needs children, my neighbor has downs syndrome, and I've Read more been a babysitter for her throughout the years. I'm open to cleaning up around the house and doing chores such as the dishes. I also have a car of my own and my driver's license, so if a family is comfortable with it, I'd be okay with driving kids to and from places such as preschool, the park, the grocery store, etc. Because of the time we're in, I'd like to note that I'm COVID-19 safe, and I'm fully vaccinated.
