I've been a caregiver since day 1 as the eldest girl in my family. I'm the first granddaughter of 11 on my mother's side and the older sister of 2 girls. I always loved helping take care of the younger cousins as a child and eventually would help the sunday school teachers of my parents' church with the babies and elementary schoolers during service. As I grew older in high school, I would become an aid & student director for the theatre level one students. As of right now, I am a well respected catering manager in food service where I happily have great relationships with the high school/early college employees that view me as a reliable older sister figure. I've taken care of kids of all ages, including some of disabilities with restricted mobility and diet. Both of my parents are of Hispanic background and in my culture, safety and family loyalty means everything.
