I started to babysit when I was in sixth grade and since then, I’ve worked for at least 30 different families. I’ve nannied full time for 3 boys, au paired for an infant and a toddler in Spain, and traveled with a band as the kids’ nanny. At university I completed my first portfolio for Elementary Education. I also have completed courses/training/workshops in assertive/nonviolent communication, psychology, and mindfulness. My professional work experience with kids started in high school at a daycare, and I’ve since worked as a tutor, preschool teacher at the Giving Tree Early Learning Academy, Before/After School Site Coordinator and camp counselor with YMCA. I’ve also worked as a behavioral specialist, paraprofessional, respite caregiver for kids/teens with different mental/physical challenges, and I’ve worked extensively with autistic kids. I’m licensed in AED, CPR, and in SBS. I’m also a professional pet sitter, house sitter, organizer, cleaner, farmer/gardener, and artist.
