Hello! I just graduated from the University of Montana university with a B.A in Communication Studies and Women’s studies. I will be back in Bozeman on June 13, 2022 and would love to have a caregiving/ nanny job again! SEPTEMBER 2018 - DECEMBER 2018 Flagship Afterschool Program, Missoula MT - Volunteer ● Assistant at an after-school program for kindergarteners at an elementary school. ● Duties included: assisining in crafts and lessons, as well as cleaning and preparing for activities. JUNE 2019 - JULY 2020 Montessori Children's House, Bozeman - Assistant Teacher ● Substitute assistant teacher in classrooms aged infants through pre-primary. ● Duties included: preparing meals and bottles, putting children to sleep, diparing, medication administration, assisting in arts and crafts, helping during meal time, leading circle time, reading books to children, and cleaning. SEPTEMBER 2019 - MARCH 2020 ASUM Child Care, Missoula Mt - Teaching Assistant ● Worked in the Read more classroom for students aged two to three. ● Duties included: assisting in outside activities, arts and crafts, meal preparation/ cooking, setting tables, cleaning, diparing, handwashing help, playing with children/ reading books, and directing students. SEPTEMBER 2020 - MAY 2022 Missoula Developmental Service Corporation - Direct Support Professional Worked in a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. Duties included: assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene cares, housekeeping duties, electronic documentation, medication administration, meal preparation, cooking and feeding, participating in community outings, monitoring the health and safety of clients while they sleep, assisting with programs (educational, skills, crafts), and de-escalating physical & mental behaviors using Mandt training. I am CPR and First Aid certified. My training also includes “Early Childhood Essentials” taught by the Montana Early Childhood Project, and various online training programs through ChildCareTraining.org. These online trainings include “Infant Safety Essentials”, “Child Abuse and Neglect: Mandatory Reporting,” “Yikes-Emergency Preparedness,” “Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases & Immunizations”, and “Medication Administration in Child Care.” Through Relias Learning : Healthcare Training and Performance Solutions, I have completed training including “Bloodborne Pathogens” and “An Overview of Safe Eating and Drinking.”
