I have been caring for children since I was sixteen, and teaching at a local Montessori school for the last three years. I am certified to teach at the Early Childhood age, and have experience with Lower Elementary as well. I am confident teaching both age groups, and love different things about each. Recently, however, my time has been dedicated to teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade at a Montessori school in town. I worked in the pre-school classroom for two years prior. In addition, I have nanny experience (prior to teaching) with infants as young as 12 weeks (premature twins) up to 4th grade. I find a lot of joy caring for and teaching young children, and possess strong maternal instincts. I see myself as an intuition-driven caretaker, with an empathetic and passionate approach.
