I started babysitting when I was 12 and watched 4 children every day for three summers. After that, I worked at a church preschool after school for a year until it closed down. That summer I started working at a daycare and was there for two years as a floater but primarily a 2 year old and school age child teacher until that facility also closed. At those facilities I became CPR and first aid certified. Next, I worked at another daycare as a toddler teacher for several months until I came to Springfield for college. I love childcare because I enjoy watching children learn new things and seeing them grow and develop. I also love being someone they can trust and having the chance to make an impact in their lives.
