Hello! I am a recent WashU graduate with future plans to become a pediatric dentist! I grew up as the oldest cousin in a large family and have always loved working with children. The moment I was old enough to get a job, I got my first job as a preschool camp counselor! Since then, I've worked a multitude of summer camp jobs including horse camp, nature camp, Humane Society camp, art camp, and an occupational therapy camp for children with developmental disabilities. These roles have given me great experience in working with children of different ages in many different settings. I also grew up working as a mother's helper and babysitter for local neighborhood families. I have continued working with children since moving to St. Louis to attend WashU. One of my primary extracurricular activities as an undergraduate was visiting local classrooms to give age-friendly, interactive presentations on health Read more topics. I continue to volunteer at the Give Kids a Smile free dental clinics at SLU, and I work with children of all ages in my work as a dental assistant at a family dentistry private practice. As a babysitter, I take the time to learn how I can support families in the best way possible. I recognize that every family is different and every chid is unique in their own way. I am creative and enjoy implementing new ideas for fun play and activities. I come to every babysitting job with excitement! I am also happy to help out during nap times or after bedtime with any additional needs such as laundry, cleaning, pet care, and lunch packing. These are all tasks I have prior experience with for families I've worked with. I am a certified BLS (Basic Life Services) Provider (CPR and AED) through the American Heart Association. Safety is my number one priority.
