Hi! My name is Tajah (T-Asia). I am a 21-year-old St. Louis native! I am a Senior at Miami University (OH) and will be graduating in 2023! I would be interested in your position if your start date is possibly flexible! I have always loved kids and taking care of them from a young age! My mother is an early childhood educator herself and I have been volunteering in her classrooms since before I could even remember! My experience when I was younger led me to babysitting throughout middle and high school, and later into my nannying career! I am responsible, outgoing, patient, and trustworthy! I have been able to maintain tasks like weekly lesson plans that include developmentally appropriate activities, maintain daily logs (nap time, eating, changing), light housekeeping and more! Upon request, I can provide any recommendations, checks, etc. any family would like! I am also First-Aid and Read more CPR certified! After graduating in May of 2023, I will be moving to the Chicagoland area! My last nannying job, I was with a family from the time their baby was 4 months and my family before that I nannied when their first child was a newborn and their second child was about 4 months as well! I have experience in caring for young children and love doing so! During my times, I have tried to keep parents as involved as possible! I have learned that having a young child and returning to work can sometimes feel like missing out! I love to keep communication open with parents (as much you'd like) whether it be updates throughout the day or a full update at the end! I like to do things like keep daily logs (feeding, changing, nap-time), and I have also kept lesson plans that I update bi-weekly showing planned activities and how they contribute to the 5 main areas of development! Logs would be kept in a folder at your home so you can stay updated with our doings! I have even been able to teach light sign languages to children I have cared for as they have grown! Words like milk, nap, eat, more, please, and thank you! I have loved my experiences as a nanny, especially with young children!
