I have five years of child care experience, three with private sitting and two and a half in an early childhood development center. I am especially experienced with kids ages 0-5 years and have three years experience with identical twins/multiple siblings. I am First Aid/CPR certified with several other certifications pertaining to childhood development and safe sleep. I love to encourage kids to develop hands on experience and involvement on everyday tasks both around the house and in the classroom. I believe that kids learn best through watching and having a space where they can make the connections for the processes while you are there to offer support if needed.

Katie did a great job babysitting my 4-month old son when my husband and I had a date night. She was an excellent communicator and we felt very comfortable having her in our home. It was clear that she had experience with infants based on the level of care that our son received. We also loved that she took notes on his activities throughout the evening alongside the times that they occurred. I would highly recommend Katie as a sitter for other parents!
