Hello! I've loved working with children in many capacities throughout my life - I've taught swim lessons, babysat, nannied, provided behavioral therapy for children with Autism, and most recently have worked with children in social emotional learning as a practicum student for my graduate program. I'm currently in an online social work Master's program so that I can continue working with children with a focus on social emotional learning for the remainder of my career. I've recently moved from Colorado back to the KC area to spend quality time with my family while I finish my degree. I truly get so much joy helping kids through their day and watching them grow and learn, and felt a return to nannying would be great fit for the next year and a half. I place pride in being highly reliable and a clear communicator. When working with kids I believe in a Read more balance of fun and learning, having fair and developmentally appropriate expectations, and caring for them as if they’re my own family. I follow the lead of the parent’s preferences when it comes to care, structure, and accountability. I’m looking to work 3-4 days a week, up to 35 hours. My schedule is currently very flexible and I'm open to working one weekend day as well as needed. I know that finding a nanny can sometimes be a stressful experience, the care of your children is paramount, so please do not hesitate to ask for more information and details of my experience.
