Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to look at my profile! I am a former 4th grade and preschool teacher, and I consider myself a professional nanny. I have previously nannied for two families. The first was for two boys from birth to age 6. I had to unfortunately leave them for a move to Chicago, but they were also no longer needing a full-time nanny since both boys were in school. Then, I nannied for a family with 4 children, ages ranging from 2-10 when I started. I was with them for about two years until the mom graduated from graduate school and couldn’t find a job. After that, I moved back to St. Louis and decided to just stay home with my two kiddos. Now, I “nanny” for my brother part-time. Basically, I spend time with my niece, currently 16-months-old, a couple of days a week. On Read more a more personal level, I am a mom of two boys (ages 6 and 10). The older one is a sensitive dancer (hence the need for a little extra income) with a strong personality and big emotions, and the younger one is a rambunctious soccer player who also wants to try out taekwondo. I am a positive, upbeat person with a passion for education, volunteering, and caring for children. When I am not watching my niece or spending time with my kiddos, I can often be found volunteering at my kids’ school or at my church. I have many interests and love to connect with kiddos with similar interests! I enjoy soccer, softball/baseball, dance, arts and crafts, playing games, completing puzzles (jigsaw and logic), reading, math, music (I play the violin), being active, and being outdoors. I also love animals and personally have two dogs, a husky and a lab/great pyrenees mix. I will say that I am not a fan of spiders, so if you’re one of those families with a pet tarantula, we may not be a good fit. Other than that, I’m all for it! I am looking for occasional sitter opportunities (daytime errands, nighttime date nights, etc.). I am also available for a Wednesday, Friday, or flexible floating day recurring sitter opportunity.
