Hello! Let me start off by introducing myself & giving you the chance to get to know a little bit more about me & my love for children. My name is Samantha. I am a mom to an amazing sweet & loveable 8, almost 9, year old girl. She is my whole world. But being her mom wasn't where my passion to work with kids started though. That started when I was only 12 years old & started my own little baby sitters club with a childhood friend. That same day, I got offered to babysit for my very first family & that's when I realized just how much I loved it & decided that working with kids is what I wanted to do with my life & that I would make that my career. So through the years growing up, I took on every chance that came my way Read more to work with children. I've worked in daycares as both an assistant teacher & even a Lead teacher. I even accepted a full time Nanny position for a family friend at just 14 years old. And I loved every minute of it. I worked for a single mother who's child was only 9 months old at the time. I cared for her just like a mother would do every single day up until she turned 8 years old. That's when I had married & moved away due to being a military wife at the time. We still remain very close even today. She is now 21 years old. Caring for her taught me so much about children & I have been able to take that experience with me everywhere ever since. I love everything about children & all the adventures they bring my way. To be honest, I would rather be around children all day than a bunch of adults most of the time. They are way better company. A lot less drama. I plan to hopefully get into the fall semester this year at a local community college to get my CDA certification in early childhood education. I am certified in Adult/Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED as well. I am also a volunteer at Wren Hollow Elementary in Parkway School District & a Co-Leader for girl scouts troop 422 3rd grade brownies as well. I also have plenty of references to give you as well if need be. I can provide proof of a physical, TB, Hep A&B, & both doses of the COVID vaccine as well as a copy of my FBI fingerprint background check & all of those things if needed. Well that is enough about me. I hope that you now have a better idea of what sort of love that I could bring to your family & be the best caregiver to your babies that you could ever imagine.
