Just moved back from Tokyo, Japan, where I was a nursery care giver for 2 years! I took care of ages 10 months to 3 years on a daily basis, but I also occasionally taught ages 4-18 as well. As a nursery care worker I did everything —- diapers, feeding, naps, teaching, games, etc. It was an international preschool and students were from all over the world as well as Japan. I worked with 6-8 other teachers and we took care of about 20-30 kids, and I don’t mean to brag but….the kids really loved me! I’m a very soft person, but I do still like to teach good life lessons and general childhood development. I don’t have kids of my own so I really tend to pour too much of my heart and soul into care giving, and it’s always really difficult for me to say goodbye 🥲😂
