I first started working in childcare in May of 2021 as an infant aide at New Creations ChildCare Center; after two months I became a floater to gain experience with working with the different age groups and because I only worked during the summer, I’ll leave once the school year starts. I went back May of 2022 but a toddler aide and also a floater then I decided to take this semester off, so I went back last January as an assistant teacher for the same toddler classroom. My most recent position is an Aide for Teachers on Call. I love working with children because they bring so much joy and energy to every interaction. Their curiosity and enthusiasm are infectious, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help them learn and grow. I am not just a babysitter; I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. I have a knack for quickly building rapport with kids, which helps them feel comfortable and secure. Furthermore, my background in early childhood education has equipped me with the skills to incorporate educational and fun activities into daily routines, ensuring that children are always learning and having fun.
