I have been working with kids for over 8 years as a babysitter, nanny, and substitute teacher (ECE). I strive to create a nurturing and safe environment where children feel comfortable expressing their true selves and emotions. I love planning activities such as; exploring the outdoors, arts & crafts, dance parties, and building forts. I naturally incorporate educational experiences into the daily routine while considering the needs, abilities, and interests of each child involved. I have extensive knowledge in Montessori and positive/gentle parenting techniques. I also have experience working with kids on who are on the autism spectrum. In my free time I enjoy camping, hockey, rockhounding, playing with my cats, and spending time with family.
