Hi! My name is Ashley, I’ve always loved kids and have been babysitting since I was 14. Over the years I have babysat and nannied for several different family’s. Starting when their kids were infants and adapting with their family as the kids grew and their needs changed. I worked in a daycare center with ages infant- kindergarten as a teachers aid and then became lead teacher in the infant room. I have experience maintaining daily routines of multiple infants and children. Meeting all feeding and diapering needs. And following napping schedules. I have strong communication and experience collaborating with parents to ensure I’m providing high quality compassionate care for their children. My favorite stages to work with is infant and toddler stages so this has become my focus. It is so rewarding to me to form these bonds with family’s. When I’m interacting with children it’s important to me that I help them feel confident and capable. That I nurture a secure attachment so that they can feel safe enough to explore their world and try new things. I value safety, creativity and learning through play. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my pets, learning, being creative and being in nature. Some of my favorite topics to learn about are psychology, infant/human development, and music.
