I just moved from Idaho back to my husband’s hometown in Stanchfield. My schooling background is in Biology(Plant Ecology focused) and Nutrition and Exercise Science. I believe natural organic foods, nature, movement, stress management, meditation, energy healing, breathwork and mindfulness are keys to a well rounded, healthy life. My babysitting journey began when I was 14 years old, starting with watching children while their parents went out to dinner. Once I got to college, I started nannying for a family (which lasted 7 years). I was responsible for changing diapers, preparing meals, giving baths, reading bedtime books, putting kids to sleep and of course playing with the kids! As the kids got older, my roles changed to getting the kids ready, fed and on the bus before school, helping with homework, driving to sports practice, and still preparing meals and bedtime routine. Before I moved from Idaho, I worked with Read more a family that had 3 boys ages for 1.5 years (beginning at 2.5, 4 and 7) Our days were loaded with trucks, music, puzzles, games, sports and of course school work. I am very active and love being outside so it was a great fit. I prepared healthy lunches and snacks and worked as a team with the parents (if they worked from home). I believe in open communication and get very close to the families I work with. I do not JUST view nannying as a job due to the impact I can have on the children. I am very compassionate and think that children are a wonderful gift and treat them as such! They are our future =).
