Meet Chiquita

I am 31 years old, I will be graduating from EMU in April with a bachelors degree in African American Studies and Women and Gender Studies. I currently work for McDonald’s and EMU Bright Futures After School Program. This just provides me with day care licensing. I have no children of my own but my experience with children is great. I have been sitting with children since i was about 8. My family and friends who have children know that if they needed someone to watch their children, they could always count on me. I love to be around children and help with their development of learning and growing. I love doing interactive activities which limits screen time. I’m a very hands on sitter. My goal is to make being a sitter my career and owning my own child care business. I don’t have a car but I make my Read more way to getting anywhere I need to be. I love cooking and making and trying different meals and I also allow children to interact and help cooking.
