Hi! My name is Janell, and caring for children has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. As a proud auntie, I’ve had the privilege of watching my nieces and nephews grow, from their first steps to their first words, and I’ve been there through every laugh, every scraped knee, and every bedtime story. These moments have deeply shaped who I am and only strengthened my desire to one day become a mother myself. My love for working with children is rooted in both compassion and connection. I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported. I’m the kind of caregiver who gets on the floor to play, who listens with patience, and who celebrates the little victories, whether it’s tying their shoes on their own or finally trying that green vegetable. In addition, I have extensive experience as a dialysis technician, giving me insight into both acute and long-term care needs. I’m also CPR certified and have completed formal childcare training, giving me the skills and confidence to respond calmly and effectively in any situation. With over 15 years of dedicated healthcare experience, I bring a unique blend of professional skill, heartfelt compassion, and personal commitment to every individual I care for. My journey in healthcare has placed me alongside people from all walks of life each with their own story, challenges, and victories, and it’s in those deeply human moments that I’ve found my calling. Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with patients living with a wide range of complex medical conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and both paraplegic and quadriplegic individuals. I understand the physical, emotional, and mental toll that chronic conditions can bring, not just for patients but for their families too. I meet each client with empathy, patience, and a personalized approach to care that respects their dignity and promotes independence wherever possible.
