I am a Special education/childhood education major at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. I have two nieces, one who is 5 years old and one who is just turning one. I have nannied for both of them, as well as my late nephew. I currently volunteer at an after school program for immigrant and refugee children from ages 7-12 and a program on Friday nights where I work with children with autism from 5:30 to 8:30. I also work in an inclusion kindergarten classroom for 3 days a week with children of varying abilities and disabilities. I have always loved caring for children and using my imagination and spontaneity to make my time with the children I watch as fun for them as it is for me. I have been trained in CPR and First Aid, and will be renewing my First Aid certification this summer.
