I love all children and enjoy working with them immensely. I have been caring for children since I was 9, when my youngest brother was born and have taken extensive training to become the best caregiver I can be. I have experience caring for all age groups and those with special needs. When you hire me, you are getting more than just a babysitter, you are getting a caregiver that will help your children reach their full potential. I make everyday fun for the kids and tailor the activities to their needs. I am a married mother of two teenage daughters. I am comfortable with pets; we have/have had dogs, cats , fish, gerbils and chickens. I have a reliable car and am certified for BLS for adults and children. I am willing to help with meal prep, laundry and some cleaning. I can also help with homework and school Read more readiness skills, reading, writing, spelling, etc. I had my certification as a Nurse's Assistant until recently and I am coming back to my field of study and expertise, Child Care. I have a lot of experience and knowledge to share. I love singing and reading and sensory experiences. Sand, water play, play dough, shaving cream, so much fun to be part of these experiences for kids. I don't drink coffee or tea, but I love Tea Parties. Little kids are just a joy to work with. Growing up, my youngest brother was born when I was 9 and ever since then it has been my life's goal to work with young children. I have been babysitting since I was 11, I worked at a vocational preschool while in high school and I took a Future Teachers of America course, where I was a teacher's aide at an elementary school. After I graduated, I worked in various daycare centers and got my associate degree for Child Development. Then I got married and moved to Midland. I started working as a paraprofessional substitute for the Midland Public School District and eventually started working at the Juvenile Care Center. Then I took a break to raise my daughters. Once my daughters were in school, I went back to working part time. I worked for the schools again, the Arnold Center and then Pinecrest Farms, which is when I became a CNA. I started working as an In Home Caregiver, to get some experience and now I am working for Senior Services.
