Hi there! 2 years working as a provider for children with Autism and other Developmental difficulties. My first priority is the safety of the child My second priority is making sure the child is taken care or/ watched over in the manner that the parent prefers. I prefer to ask direct questions about how parents want me to respond to their child's behavior/ "acting out" I have watched kids alone at their home for up to 1.5 hours, so I am sure I can handle longer periods. I have the energy to be actively engaged with the child(ren) and giving them constant attention for up to 5 hours. If this is the care that your child needs, I can handle it. For any children with medical needs, I'd need demonstrations of how to give the child whatever they need in that context before I would be comfortable doing it alone.
