I have been taking care of children since I was 10 years old. I started by babysitting. This evolved into paid employment with my church to run the infant and toddler rooms as well as once a week for choir and handbell practice. I also ran a sitter service for a moms bible study at another church, at one point I was watching three infants, multiple toddlers and a few school aged children. I believe the max I had at one time was eight or ten. I have many friends and family that I have become “Aunt Becky” to there children. I was unable to have children of my own so I treat every child as if they were mine. I do have two grown stepsons one of which has mental disabilities, so I do have experience in that. I have been cpr trained however my certification has lapsed. I Read more am currently going through the adoption process and any work I find will go directly towards that.
