I'm Wendy! Im 32 yrs old & a mom of 2 amazing boys ages 12 and 9 with 15+ years of experience!! Caring for children truly makes me happy, to me it's never been just a paycheck for me! Being a nanny is who i am! Being a part of children's lives, watching them grow & learn and knowing you are making even a small difference in their life & making daily routines smoother for families brings me joy! I started working at a daycare in a preschool room when i was 16, during the summer when i was able to work full time i began in the infant room caring for 4 infants (daycare ratio 4 infants to 1 adult) responsible for feeds (formula, breast, baby food and introducing solids Proper diaper changing, maintain/regulating naps, and encouraging each milestone! From there my 2009-2013 nanny journey began! I started nannying for a family fostering an 8mo. old (i mention fostering because it allowed me to take several childcare health & safety classes required by the state giving me so much more knowledge, understanding and confidence as a nanny) and quickly after starting she gave birth to her newborn son! With full comfort, and trust the parents were able to go to work stress free never having to worry about their pets, household and NEVER had to worry about their children's wellbeing. Not only were they extremely grateful for the 100% focus at work, but they also ALWAYS knew that after a long 10 hr workday, they would be coming home to happy, healthy and cared for children and a clean, well-maintained home that allowed them to have a completely relaxed, evening with their children! During that time, I also gave birth to my first son, so i was caring for 3 boys! There was NEVER a dull moment! In 2013 i left to give birth to my second son! After deciding to be a stay at home mom, i ended up helping out a friend which turned into helping out a friend's friend and before i knew it i was babysitting multiple children ages 6moths - 4 years old! I loved every bit of it! Arts & crafts, singing & dancing, reading, & LOTS of outside play! After a couple years of that I went BACK to my first nanny family helping with before& after school as well as housework! Between 2007 & now i have also babysat for SEVERAL families for date nights, appointments, last minute situations etc.
