Hi! My name is Ann Spaulding. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career working with children. My love and enjoyment I found working with children began when I was in high school. I had babysat children of a variety of ages and abilities and worked as a camp counselor. After graduating Merrimack College with a Bachelors in Human Development and Human Services, with a secondary major in Education, I went from being an Applied Behavior Therapist to an Educational Technician (Paraprofessional) in an elementary school, and most currently, a middle school. However, within the past year, I had a bit of a shift in dream careers as I wanted to continue working with and teaching children but in a non-traditional classroom setting: a library. Now with a Masters in Library and Information Sciences, it is my dream job to pursue a career as a Teen Read more Librarian so I can continue contributing to youth’s education, be a role model for reading, and create a welcoming and inclusive environment away from home for them. However, until something piques my interest, I would love to continue this vision of mine and utilize my skills as a babysitter.
