Hi there! I have a strong passion for working with kids--I believe their creativity, curiosity, and imaginations should be nurtured with encouragement, patience, and kindness. I began babysitting at age 15, and haven't stopped working with children since. I worked as a sailing instructor, ski school supervisor, infant nanny, and built extensive experience with teens and young adults when I worked as a wilderness therapy guide in the backcountry of Vermont for two years. I have worked with kids with autism as a behavior technician as well. I have comfortable working with all ages--whether its in a 1:1 ratio or managing a room full of children. I have a strong interest in reading, art, nature, and physical activity, but am able to meet the needs and interests of children no matter their age or personality! I would love to work with your child in whatever capacity is needed, whether it's Read more helping with homework or taking them for a long walk in the park. I have my Wilderness First Responder Certification, which includes CPR/First Aid, and have my Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification as well. I am highly skilled in risk assessment, management, and prevention given my history working with high risk youth. I am currently in grad school pursuing my Master of Social Work to become an Outpatient Clinician for children and families. I am looking for part-time or occasional babysitting gigs!
