Hi! My name is Charlee. I am 25 years old, and currently work as an Ed Tech III at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in the Day Treatment Special Education program. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine in Orono, ME with a bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Development. I have not had the opportunity to be a nanny yet, but began babysitting at the age of 12 years old. I used to watch my cousins when they were little. When I was a teen, I took the safe sitter course and became a certified babysitter. Since then, I have been CPR/AED certified from my former job working with homeless veterans. I do believe that my certification has expired, but the skill has not. As a babysitter, I watched my 3 cousins who varied in age. The youngest is about 8 Read more years younger than the middle child, and the middle child is 2 years younger than the oldest. I also used to babysit three sisters who had similar age ranges. It has been some time since I have watched kids, but having many friends with children of their own has continued to give me experience with children. I find kids an absolute joy to be with. I am currently working towards my certification in teaching, and hope to achieve that in the near future to pursue a social studies teaching position. Following that, I then hope to go back to school to obtain a masters degree in either educational psychology or school counseling. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!
