I started babysitting back in early high school and loved getting to work with a handful of different kids of different ages. I also spent a lot of time while growing up helping take care of family members with different learning disorders/disabilities and elders with dementia, starting my love of working with others. As for more recently in between college semesters where I’ve been working on my psychology and rehabilitation degree, I spent a summer away as a live in nanny watching three little ones under the age of four. I then quickly found out how much I loved doing this as a job and also being able to apply the knowledge I was gaining in classes to my work with kids. For the past couple of years I’ve now worked with a few consistent families, some with babies as young as 4months, kids as old as 12 years, kids Read more with disabilities and sets of twins, with a main focus on keeping the kids safe, happy and fed. I always enjoy playing games, creating crafts, working on any milestones, fun days outside and cozy days in. But most importantly I’m happy to follow the schedule that best fits you and your children.
