Meet Jessica

Hi! I’m Jessica, and I’m a part-time student at the University of Southern Maine. I’m also a ballet dancer in a local dance company, and I have a background in theater. I’ve been babysitting since 7th grade, and helping take care of my younger sister since she was a baby. I’ve also been assistant and substitute teaching dance classes for kids ages 3-14 for about 4 years. I have grown up with multiple cats, dogs, a bird, and chickens, so I’m very comfortable with household pets, and some farm animals. I’ve always loved caring for children, regardless of their age or level of ability. I’ve babysat kids from ages 1-10, and worked with children with ADHD and severe anxiety in dance classes and plays that I’ve directed. I’m a big fan of board and card games, as well as drawing, singing, dancing, acting, cooking, and being outside. Because every child Read more is different, I don’t have one way that I babysit. I cater to the needs and wants of every individual child to the best of my ability. My goal is to make kids feel safe and comfortable, and hopefully have some fun along the way!
