I’m a California native who moved to the downeast area 5 years ago. Since moving here I have found a love of nature, I love going on hikes and adventures when it’s not icy! I’m still not quite used to the cold yet. I am a self taught artist. I love painting and drawing in my free time. I graduated high school in 2020, and felt very lost as a lot of us did. That winter I lucked upon an amazing opportunity to become a lifeguard at the YMCA. It helped me build leadership skills, and confidence. While working there I taught young children swim lessons. Ive worked at a local summer camp for 2 years. The first I was just a lifeguard/swim instructor, and the followingI became the director of the waterfront. I still hold a CPR/first aid certification. And plan on renewing my certification this summer. I’m currently working as a children’s behavioral health professional, and work one-on-one with children who have special needs. working with these kids fills my heart. It has always been a passion of mine to help kids create healthy coping mechanisms, and aiding in what I believe to be the most difficult part of life: growing up!
