Hello, I am a elementary school teacher looking for a babysitting position. I have a flexible schedule and am open to a position that last anywhere from a day to a month. Starting in September, I will be available on weekends and occasional weeknights. I am fun, responsible, active, and engaging. I would make sure your children have the safe, happy, and interesting summer that they deserve. I am willing to design fun lessons to help your little one get an academic boost this summer, or keep things as play based as you like! I enjoy taking kids to the library, park, beach, or on short hikes. Inside, I often do cooking projects, make crafts, and read to children. I have worked as a full time nanny, babysitter, teacher at a childcare center, and as an elementary school teacher. I have great references and a current background check (required for Read more teaching in Maine). I also have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Boston University. I have reliable transportation and am used to a long commute. I currently live in Boothbay and teach in Hallowell. I generally travel to Brunswick, Augusta, and Portland several times a week. I could bring my 5 year old daughter along with me most days if you would like your child to have a playmate. However, I do have other options for her if it is not ideal for your family. She is a polite, cheerful, and social little girl who is used to sharing her mummy :). With this in mind, I am willing to accept a lower pay rate.
