I’m a 27 year old who recently left a career in the corporate world to pursue some personal passions. Although I never went into childcare full-time, I’ve held babysitting and nannying roles for as long as I could remember, and spent most of my summers in college nannying full-time. I’ve worked at daycares and even obtained my 90 hour childcare certification for the state of Maryland. I love working with children and really believe you have to have the heart for it to do it. It isn't easy but there’s something so enriching about spending time with and teaching children, because you actually end up learning so much from them. A little more about me - I studied accounting in college and worked a couple of years as an auditor and a financial consultant. I'm very involved in my church and community, and I volunteer at an organization called the Read more DC Dream Center where I work with underprivileged youth (middle school and high school aged).
