My name is janay sommerville. I used to work at a daycare center called knowledge learning center in fort mead maryland. I worked there for about 2 years. I was a teacher aid and also a floater. I took care children from the ages of one to five years old. I enjoy taking care of children as i watched them learn and grow. My responsibility at the day care center was to assist the teacher in lesson plans and create fun activities for the childern to do throughout the week. I also helped with clean up after lunch and snack and cleaning up after children played with toys and art projects. I also made sure children were safe on the playground and in the classroom. I had my 90 hour certificate in child care and was also first aid and CPR certified through the day care center i worked at.
