I am currently a Teacher Assistant at an Elem. School in Glen Burnie for 9 yrs. with students with disability and behavioral challenges. I also do after school care. Hours 3-10 M-F. Saturdays I'm also available if needed. Date night is also available. I do summer care when school is out, and my hours are 6am-7pm M-F. Over 20 yr. of childcare experience. I'm good with sign language with special needs children (I know the basic). I also have been working with kids PreK-5th gr. with different disabilities like Down Syndrome, Hearing Impaired, Autism, Behavioral and also Visual impairment. I strive to stay current on new legislation regarding children's educational rights. I am conscious of students' academic abilities and/or disabilities and will strive to provide them with the tools and services they need as individuals to succeed academically and in society.
