I have been a caregiver for over 20 years now. I started babysitting when I was 13, then began working as a nanny when I was 20. Recently, I was the lead teacher in the toddler room of a daycare and also have experience teaching with Montessori methods. The majority of my experience is with infants through elementary school, however, I have provided care for children up to high school age. I do offer homework help and some tutoring. I also know basic sign language for infants. I have experience working with special needs such as autism and ADHD. I enjoy keeping children active and engaged. I believe spending some time outdoors and away from electronics is important. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts and letting kids really express their creativity.

Sara worked with our family--2 boys ages 10 and 12--for about 3 months part-time until she got a full-time position. She was always prompt, courteous, conscientious. The boys enjoyed her visits. She picked them up from school/camp and looked for ways to engage them--i.e., taking them to a beach or park.
