I find joy in working with children because I love to take part in their growth, whether I’m teaching them new things or simply doing what they like to do. I am a very patient person and feel that I am great at understanding children and supporting them in any way they need. When I was a child, I always looked up to my sitters and enjoyed spending time with them and I would like to do the same for other kids. Over the past 3 years, I have gained experience with babysitting children of various ages (5-10), which has given me a good idea on how to care for different age groups. I started sitting in high school and have continued it throughout college. I help with homework, prepare meals, dress/bathe, do fun arts and crafts activities, supervise outdoor activities, and maintain a clean environment. As a student with an ample amount of free time, I am able to plan creative activities and do engaging activities with the children. I am also CPR certified and I’m very calm in emergency situations.
