I enjoy working with children because every day is different and adventures are always ahead. I have been a long-term substitute with WCPS for over a year. I will be continuing to long-term substitute in the coming school year. Previously, I worked in an in-home day care with children ages newborn to 4. My sense of calmness in stressful situations, adaptability, and empathy sets me apart from others. I understand that children often feel big emotions that they may not understand and sometimes it just takes a patient person to listen and support them. I enjoy going on mini adventures to see local sites and always try to incorporate a learning experience into activities.
