Hi! My name is Sarah and I've been babysitting for the past 11 years, starting as a mother's helper and once I was old enough switching to the occasional babysitting and nannying for multiple families with children ranging in ages from newborn-15 years old. I have always loved working with kids and my jobs over the years reflects this, I had the privilege of working from 2020-2024 at an amazing private school in Gaithersburg but recently left there to pursue a career in real estate but am still looking for babysitting jobs in my area. I am First Aide and CPR certified and have Medicine Administration training so I know how to give proper dosing of standard medicine to children but from Past experience I can also help with inhalers, Epi pens, and while it was not part of the training I can give injected medication if absolutely needed as Read more long as I am given proper instructions. I know how to use feeding tubes for children with PEG tubes but as some can be different than others going over how to use your child's is necessary. I can cook for and clean up after children I watch as well as take care of other household tasks. I prefer to take kids outside to parks or just to play in the yard rather than inside on tablets or watching tv. I really try to let kids make their own decisions on what to eat, wear or do unless parents specify otherwise in which case whatever the parents decide is what happens. I'm happy to drive them around to any activities they're involved in with school and such. I don't mind staying late so parents don't feel the need to rush home and can take their time.
