Meet Yaritza

Hello, my name is Yaritza. I am from Providence, Rhode Island. However, I currently live Gaithersburg, Maryland. I am a college student at Bowie State University studying Psychology and my interest with that is to help children become healthy adults. Now, I haven't had an official job in baby sitting, but I do have experience in babysitting. For one, I am the oldest child of five children from a single mother. While my mother worked many over time hours to provide for our household, she relied on me to watch over my younger siblings for almost 15 years. Furthermore, this helped me gain the opportunity to babysit other children who parents worked with my mother, which kind of helped spread my clientele to a larger horizon. I am a very easy going babysitter and I pay close to the children that I am expected to take care of. I also Read more am very fun to hang around with and flexible between many activities that kids enjoy nowadays. I can play video games (although I am not the best), watch fun shows and movies, prepare snacks, and more. I also make it an important point to have homework done for children who do go to school. Essentially speaking, school is a must for many many parents and I understand the importance of making sure that there is a balance of play and school. For the most part, I love working with kids. This will not only help you (the parents) get an extra hand on taking care of kids, but also for me, as it will help me grow my experience in babysitting as well as being around children for my future career after I graduate. I am available to babysit during most nights after 9pm and weekends after 6pm. Depending on my schedule, I might be able to accommodate for those who are looking for it, but of course, this is not guaranteed and I would need to be contacted at least TWO weeks in advance PRIOR to the babysitting job to further consult with parents.
