Hi! I have over 20 years' experience in the childcare field gained from daycare centers, babysitting, owning my own in-home daycare, being a mother, aunt, and now a grandmother. I treat the children in my care as if my own and take my job seriously (even though I am "babysitter", your children are my "job" and my focus and attention remains on them. I am not on my phone all day nor do I text all day.) I sing songs (though I can NOT carry a tune lol), read stories, and am on the floor interacting with the children in my care (I am not a couch potato). I understand the trust instilled in me and take that responsibility seriously. I update with texts/pictures throughout the day if that is what the parent(s) prefer and have done so for other families. I have some sign language skills (I studied Deaf Read more Studies as recently as 2004) but my signing is beginner level from non-use, and teach simple signs along the way.
